God works in mysterious ways, doesn't He?!

if you don't see Him working in your life every day - slow down!

open your eyes,

take a deep breath - in with the good... out with the bad...

He is so alive,

so connected,

so real.

i'm praying that you see and feel Him today!

...so i was sending an email to a friend earlier and i wanted to include a scripture i read this morning. since my post-menopausal brain only works in 30 minute intervals, i thought best to look it up first - Psalm 62...

Psalm 62 1 Truly my soul finds rest in God; my salvation comes from him. 2 Truly he is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will never be shaken. 5 Yes, my soul, find rest in God; my hope comes from him. 6 Truly he is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will not be shaken. 7 My salvation and my honor depend on God; he is my mighty rock, my refuge. 8 Trust in him at all times, you people; pour out your hearts to him, for God is our refuge. 11 One thing God has spoken, two things I have heard: “Power belongs to you, God, 12 and with you, Lord, is unfailing love”; and, “You reward everyone according to what they have DONE.”

this took me back because:

1. that was not the scripture i thought i was looking for

2. that was exactly the scripture i was looking for!

see how God works? :-)

an affirmation that while who and what we are, what we think and believe influences how we act,

our reward - our legacy - is based on what we DO.

so get busy!
